How to Apply Online

STEP01

Advance preparations

  • Checking internet environment

    Please ready a computer, smartphone, or tablet device that is connected to the internet.

  • Preparing photo data

    ※3ヶ月以内に撮影されたもの(上半身・正面・脱帽)

  • Preparing documents for mailing

    The documents for mailing sometimes take a while to issue, so please prepare them as far in advance of submitting your application as possible.

    Recommendation letter and dossier

    *The documents for mailing differ depending on the entrance examination classification.
    For details, please refer to the text of the application guidelines or the text of the e-mail that you will receive after you submit your application.

STEP02

Logging into Online Application System

  • Please click on “persons who are submitting an application for the first time.”
  • Please go to the page for creating an Online Application Account, input your e-mail address, and then click on “send.”
  • The e-mail address that you input will receive an e-mail entitled “Confirmation of registration of Online Application Account.” Please complete your registration by clicking on the confirmation URL in the e-mail.

STEP03

Application registration(Applications can only be submitted within the time period for accepting application forms.)

  • Please log in, and then click on “New application submission” on the page.
  • Selection of faculty/departmentPlease select your faculty/department and 検定日.
  • Selection of entrance examination classificationPlease select the entrance examination classification that you will register, such as “school commendation type” or “general type.”
  • Selection of 検定日 and method of payment Please choose from the following: (1) Credit card
    (2) Convenience store
    (3) Financial institution ATM (Pay-easy)
  • Inputting of personal information detailsPlease input your date of birth, educational background, and so on.
  • Inputting your assignments and responses to questionsPlease submit the assignments and answer the questions following the instructions on the screen.

STEP04

Payment of 検定料

Please select the relevant examination from the “registered 検定日 list” and click on the “payment procedures” button. Then, after checking the content, please carry out the procedures within a week from the day of your application submission. (If the day of your application submission is less than one week before the date of the deadline for submitting the relevant application, please pay on or before the date of the deadline for submitting the relevant application.) If you have submitted an application for an examination for which the 検定料 shown is “0 yen,” you do not need to carry out payment procedures. From “Step 3,” please proceed directly to “Step 5.”

Select “customers who have a number.”

Input the payment number (six digits).

Input the “telephone number” that you registered when you submitted your application.

Check the payment details.

An application ticket (receipt slip) will be issued. Please take this to the register and pay 検定料 in cash. *Please make the payment at the register within 30 minutes from the time that the application ticket (receipt slip) has been issued.

Make sure to receive a “receipt with statement of transaction details.”

Select “convenience store payment.”

Select “make a payment.”

Select “go to number input screen.”

Input your customer number.

Input your confirmation number.

Check the payment details.

An application ticket (receipt slip) will be issued. Please take this to the register and pay 検定料 in cash. *Please make the payment at the register within 30 minutes from the time that the application ticket (receipt slip) has been issued.

Make sure to receive a “receipt with statement of transaction details.”

Store register

At the register, say that you would like to make an “online payment.”

Provide your “payment slip number.”

Pay 検定料 in cash at the register.

Make sure to receive a formal receipt (in receipt format).

At the register, say that you would like to make an “online payment.”

Input your online payment number on the touch panel.

Check the payment details.

Pay 検定料 in cash at the register.

At the register, say that you would like to make an “online payment.”

Input your online payment number on the touch panel.

Check the payment details.

Pay 検定料 in cash at the register.

Make sure to receive a formal receipt (in receipt format).

Financial institution ATM (Pay-easy) [cash payment/cash card]

Use an ATM at Japan Post Bank or other ATM compatible with Pay-easy.

Select “taxes and fees (Pay-easy).”

For “receiving organization number,” input “58082.”

Input your customer number and confirmation number.

Please select a payment method (cash or cash card), and pay 検定料.

STEP05

Mailing of documents for mailing

Please check what your documents for mailing are via the application registration completion screen or the e-mail that is sent to you at the time of application submission completion, enclose the documents in an envelope, and mail these to the school by 簡易書留もしくは速達 from a post office counter during the time period for application submission. (These must arrive at the school before the end of the time period for application submission.)

注意!

Your application submission will be completed once you have finished registering, paid your 検定料, and mailed your documents for mailing.

The Online Application System can be used any time of day or night.
Nevertheless, the payment of 検定料 and mailing of documents for mailing needs to be finished within one week from the day of your application submission. (If the day of your application submission is less than one week before the date of the deadline for submitting the relevant application, please pay on or before the date of the deadline for submitting the relevant application.) (If your 検定料 is “0 yen,” only the mailing of documents for mailing is needed.) Please carry out your application submission as early as possible in order to ensure that you have plenty of time.

STEP06

Printing of examination admission ticket

After application registration has been received from the school, an examination admission number will be shown on the registered 検定日 list that is displayed on the top page after logging in.

Clicking on the examination admission number will display your examination admission ticket. Please make sure to print out this ticket on the day before your 検定日 or earlier and keep it in a safe place.

STEP07

Taking of examination

On the day of your examination, please make sure to take the examination admission ticket that you have printed out along with you.

STEP08

Checking of result

On the day of the announcing of results, whether you have passed or failed will be shown on the registered 検定日 list that is displayed on the top page after logging in.
If you have passed, 合格通知書及び入学に必要な書類 will be sent to you separately.
